Mason Jar Decor

Hi Friends,

If you’re looking for simple & easy ways to decorate with mason jars, then you have come to the right place. A couple posts ago I did a fun little diy for painting + distressing mason jars! Well now that I had these super cute mason jars, I thought to myself…what am I going to do with them?! Honestly, the possibilities are endless when it comes to mason jar decor! Mason jars are so versatile and can be used in just about every room of your house! So, for this blog post I’m going to be talking about some of my favorite ways to decorate with mason jars all throughout the house!

  1. Gallery Walls

If you’ve been following my blog then you know by now my obsession for gallery walls is real. I am in a constant battle with myself everyday not to turn every wall in our entire house into a gallery wall LOL My favorite gallery wall in our house is our entryway. But I am constantly changing things out and switching stuff around on it! For a while now I have felt that it was lacking some sort of dimension. Shortly after painting these mason jars it hit me…what better way to spice things up & add some dimension than a cute mason jar wall hang?!

Simplicity is always key for me.

The “3 d” effect of this was a statement in itself so I wanted to keep things as clean & simple as possible. But what I love most about these painted mason jars is that you can leave them as simple as you want OR you can throw some flowers in them to spruce it up a notch…

Raise your hand if you LOVE fresh flowers?! I know I do! I don’t know what I love most about this piece…how adorable it is OR how easy it was to make! All you need is a wall hanging bracket of your choice, you can pick them up just about anywhere. Home depot, lowe’s, walmart, etc…I had 1 extra bracket from our back patio makeover & I have been racking my brain of where to use it. It was the perfect touch and was exactly what our gallery wall was missing. Once you get your bracket, get yourself some burlap twine and your mason jar! It’s that easy! I love the look it brought to our gallery wall!

2. Bathrooms

Bathrooms always seem to be the most neglected rooms in a house! I have been guilty of this for years myself! Well not anymore, it’s time to show your bathroom some much needed love by adding a touch of decor that they have been missing! The first place to start is a new & improved soap dispenser!

Who knew such a small change could make such a big difference! I just drilled a little hole in the mason jar lid, big enough for the dispenser tube to fit and super glued the pump to the lid. It was too easy! I loved the look it brought to our bathroom…so why stop there?!

Did you know that mason jars make the best make up brush holders?!

I love the look the distressed mason jars brought to our guest bathroom…

3. Kitchen

If you are anything like me you are probably wondering how in the world you can incorporate mason jar decor in the kitchen?! It wasn’t until I was cooking dinner one night recently and was digging around for my favorite spatula that it clicked…there was no reason why I should be searching around in drawers for my favorite utensils! Thanks to my new mason jars my favorite spatula now has a new place to call home!

4. Dining room/living room

Mason jars always make the best centerpieces! I am always changing our dining room and coffee table centerpieces! It’s a problem. I recently used these mason jars for our coffee table centerpiece & I haven’t wanted to change it since!

See, I wasn’t kidding was I?! Mason jars really can be incorporated in just about every room of your house! They are the perfect little touch to give any room the extra spruce it’s been needing! They have a way of making any space feel warm & cozy!

So for those who have tons of mason jars laying around the house, it’s time to put them to use! And, if you missed my last post about painting + distressing mason jars you can check that post out here!

Till next time, Happy Decorating!
